Wine Barrel Candle Holder

Description

This five-candle Wine Barrel Stave Candle Holder was created from the staves of retired wine barrels made from French and American oak. The barrels are carefully disassembled and the artist recycles the staves suitable for use as candle holders. Each stave is hand-washed, lightly sanded and then the artist hand-applies a wood stain to the areas of the barrel stave where the wood was not colored by the wine stored within. The artist is careful to preserve the natural beauty of the wood and any marks or staining left by the cooper during the process of barrel making, the cellar master during cellaring and the wine itself while aging. The five-candle Wine Barrel Stave Candle Holder is one of our unique wine accessories and will show different variations in color, grain and dimension. They will vary in length between 34" and 37" inches. They also vary in width (at the widest point) between approximately 2.75" and 3.5" inches. The price includes the glass votive holders.
